In the Spotlight…
Save the date for the Lake Fork Family Fest! It’s a free and fun family-friendly event that will be held on May 10 and 11 to complement the Bassmaster Elite Tournament. There will be axe throwing, as well as cornhole and pickleball tournaments, a Vendor Fair, Food Trucks, and a free musical concert. There will also be plenty of activities for the kids, including a petting zoo, a fishing pond, and a hands-on Creature Teacher exhibit. More fun for all will include a 5-k race across the Lake Fork Dam, which will be produced by the Quitman-Lake Fork Kiwanis Club. Stay tuned. We’ll post all of the details as they develop!

About the Pilot Club
The Quitman Pilot Club is a charitable non-profit service group dedicated to improving the lives of people in the communities of Quitman, Alba and Yantis, within the mission, scope and guiding principles of Pilot International in three areas: Brain Safety & Fitness, Supporting Youth and Caring for Others. We do this in many ways, with great fun and friendship making along the way.

The Pilot Club of Quitman is an all-volunteer organization with three mission areas.
1.) Educating for the prevention of traumatic brain injury and offering services to those suffering from brain related disorders, such as Alzheimer’s, Stroke, and Autism.
2.) Advocating, encouraging and supporting the development and leadership opportunities for youth.
3.) Supporting those that care for others.
